Well, I like “Bells” for a shortening of “Opening Bell”, which is a fantastic name for a horse! Is he a thoroughbred?

Oh, tough one – as you said yourself, anything with Bell has a female ring to it. All I could come up with was Beluga, but I think Belmont is much nicer. So that gets my vote!

Hm… or Belfast, if he’s a good runner. 🙂

FoolsintheRain:  Well, I don’t think that Bells is too feminine for a horse. But that’s me!

FoolsintheRain: Oberon is very pretty!

However, having a week spot for puns, I think Belfast would be a lot of fun with that history in mind. 🙂

Wow, I’m so jealous!  Congrats!

Belden, Bellamy, Beltran, Belton, Belvedere, Ophir, Oberyn (like Oberyn Martell from Game of Thrones).  🙂  Good luck choosing a name!!

This is not anything that you asked for, but I promised myself if I ever got a horse I would name it (boy or girl) Lana Del Neigh.

I like Oberon/Obie or Belmont 🙂 He’s a cutie!
