Try Margie Flores:
La Flor Events & Designs
Definitely get in touch with Margie - she did the flowers for my wedding and did an AMAZING job.
My wedding was over two weeks ago and my friends and family are still talking about the beautiful floral arrangements that Margie created for my special day.
If you're looking for a photographer, I definitely would recommend Laura Pennace (the previous poster) who actually photographed my wedding and did a fantastic job.
We used Denise Fasanello http://www.dfasanello.com/
Our budget was really small but we ended up with the most beautiful flowers! She is also a very sweet person.
Can you give me an idea of how much centerpieces run with these florists? Just how inexpensive can you get? I have a really small budget $1,000 - which I'm starting to think is not at all realistic...if I need about 17 centerpieces + boquets. Thoughts?
Love this thread! Our old (HORRIBLE) florist fell through so we're looking for someone new! THANKS!

I'm starting to freak out even though I still have a couple months. But finding a GOOD florist who is also REASONABLE is seemingly not possible! Can anyone recommend a reliable, affordable (cheap, yes cheap!) florist in the nyc metro area. Wedding is in Brooklyn.
Flowers by Rose is booked and Flowers by Emil was so rude, I couldn't even get a sentence out before they demanded how many flowers in the centerpiece- I'm not the florist, they're supposed to know how many flowers to make it look good!
Thanks all
