I think the first one is VERY pretty however, I think the second one is GORGEOUS!!! :)
Good Luck!!
They are both so pretty on you...I can see why you'd be having a hard time deciding! I do like the first one, but I have to admit...my jaw dropped when I scrolled down and saw you in the lace dress! Wow!!! It is amazing on you! It accentuates your hourglass figure so well! I'd say go with the lace!!
I prefer the first one, the back is interested and unexpected, its more unique than the lace dress
I am in love with the back of the jasmine but not in love with the front. The dakota is very pretty.
Both look really great on you. I see what you mean, the back of "the dress" is so unique! The second dress did look really stunning on you. But in the end go with what you feel, what your gut says. If you think the second dress looks good but your heart is with the first then go with the first! Whatever you decide just go with your heart. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll look beautiful on your wedding day!
The Jasmine is so Unique! I adore it! I do not think the front is too plain at all with the bling and the interesting construction.
They are both lovely but the Jasmine gets my vote!
The first one is beautiful. But I vote for the second! It is breathtaking!!!
you look much more elegant in the second dress. the first dress looked a bit big on you, which may be the reason you look so great in the second one...
what is your wedding venue?
I'm convinced that Dakota is gorgeous on tons of brides, yourself included, but I just love how happy you are in the Jasmine. It's understated, yet just stunning on you. I'm feeling you with #1!
I think #1 does more for you. Plain isn't always plain, plain is also simple and elegant and that is what I think about the first dress. It just says more to me.
The back of the Jasmine is amazing. I think that when you get your dress and it fits correctly, it will be stunning.
I honestly love the second one the most - it looks amazing on you!
They both look great on you!! But the back of that first one is totally a surprise, a mermaid-y lace dress can be found by every designer, as nice as they all are, they are no where near as unique and interesting and the jasmine. front seams will slim and elongate you and when its all fitted, look incredible.
The first one is beautiful, but the second one looks like it was made for you. It looks so natural on, and gives you the most incredible shape. I voted Dakota.
#2 really fits your body well and looks really elegant. But both dresses are lovely!
I am a lace lover but beside that the lace dress looks beautiful on you. Its my pick for you!
Thank you sooo much for all your compliments, opinions & voting...
It's funny that the Jasmine seems like it doesn't fit. It was actually more fitted to me than the Dakota. It didn't require any clips so you can actually see the beautiful back. But the Dakota has several! I actually would order the Jasmine a little larger as it was a bit too binding on my ribs.
I think I just need to try them both on again cause I truely love being in both of them & go with what my gut says! Hopefully my Mom & bridesmaids will be helpful...lol
All the clips holding me in!
I was totally going to say go with the Jasmine, since you clearly love it, but when I saw the Dakota, my jaw dropped. It looks amazing on you! I do think you need to try them both on again, and go with your gut. I had to do the same, and in my heart, I know that I made the right decision!
As other posters have said, both dresses look great on you. I was falling in line with the other posters, i.e., first great it pretty, but second is gorgeous. But then I went back and looked again and realized that the Dakota actually isn't as fitted up top or that interesting. Someone just did a bang up job of arranging the skirt for the photographer. It's the skirt that looks so fantastic. From about the knee up, it's nothing special. So my vote is for the Jasmine and I think if you got rid of the bling and made it into a sweetheart top it would draw the eye to all the right places. That is, I think it's drawing attention away from the fact that you have a very nice waist.
I love the back of the first dress but I don't like the diagonal seams on it...
I love the 2nd dress!
Both look gorgeous for you but the Jasmine gets my vote! It's very elegant and feminine. Defintely the Jasmine!
Girlfriend that second dress is all that on you. I love haow it makes your shape over here I pick dress # 2 DING DING DING

I'm going to have to go against the majority here and say I prefer the Jasmine. Maybe it's just because I read your description first, but the Jasmine seems more "you" than the Enzoani. It's classic and elegant in the front, but with a fun twist in the back. The Enzoani is more traditional, vintagey. And I'm not really a vintage-type gal, so I might be biased. I think you look AMAZING in either dress though. So go with your gut! Which one feels more like you? That's how I chose between my top two :)
I also voted for the Jasmine. So many brides have laces gowns in this shape. I would be more wow at something so fresh and different. If shows off your figure so well and is just so pretty and super elegant on you. I certainly think the first dress is more you and look at the smile on your face in the photos when your wearing it. When I saw you in the second gown I was like no, the first dress is AMAZING!!! Best of luck when you retry them both on again.
Both look very beautiful, but the second dress is more stunning!!
I LOVE the first one. It is Stunning, I love that gorgeous ruffle down the back. It gives the dress drama. And you look sooo happy!!!!
The first one is so beautiful. I think the understated front is perfect for that dress, extra ruffles or stuff would make it a bit fussy dot you think? It would look fab with your hair up in an elegant slightly messy-wavy up do with pretty earrings to compliment the sparkely neckline. Wavy hair would tie in with the ruffles at the back! I have actually never seen a dress like that. The lace dress does look great on you but its not as unique and i feel, based on what you said, you're wanting something a little more unique?
The back on the first dress is a-ma-zing! However, I think the lace dress looks like it was **made** to be worn by you!!
Thank you, ladies!
I went back to the shop and tired the dresses on again. While the Dakota is the most beautiful lace dress I've ever seen or tired on...the Jasmine is MY dress =)
I absolutely LOVE everything about it! I love being in it soooo much! How light it is, the feel of the fabric. I realized it has more of a sheen than a gloss & is really pretty. And yes, I love how UNIQUE it is! I'm an architect and there is something very architectural about it. It really does fit well on me, it's just the pictures aren't the best & it's a sample. I CAN'T WAIT TILL IT COMES IN!!! Soooo excited!!!

Hi ladies!
I'm new to posting but have the found the boards to be full of useful & helpful info!
I really need some opinions. When I tried on 'the dress', the Jasmine #F460, I completely felt like it was the one. I had been looking for an elegant dress in simple fabric, with an awesome back. I had looked a tons of dresses & just couldn't find one like this. Prior, the dress I was considering was the Enzoani Dakota. I know it's breathtaking beautiful (seen a lot of ladies pick this one as their dress on here) but I think the other is sooo unique.
My couple worries with the Jasmine are...
That it's a little shiny, though I know the point-n-shoot camera flash is awful. And in person the sheen is really pretty, the fabric light weight & pretty. It's a taffeta- doesn't specify which one but doesn't feel cheap.
Another worry is that the front is too plain. But it has this really cool diagonal design that ends in pleats at the bottom...so maybe I've just been staring at lace too long...lol
Finally the back is absolutely amazing to me with the ruffles & roses (at top)...I'm just worried about how it'll iron/steam out, if it'll look really nice & what will happen when I sit on it over a longer period of time. The sample didn't look too bad (it was stored for a while, store acquired it for me to try as they didn't carry it) so I'm assuming if pressed & polished it will look even better =)
Okay ladies, pleaaaaseee help. I'm supposed to look at the Jasmine loaner today again as it has to go back to the designer after this week. Hopefully I'll still feel wonderful in it when I try it on the second time!
Thank you bees soooo much!
