We're having a party with about 70 ppl the week before we get married (with 13 guests), with local and non-local friends. It's a fun party to hang out and celebrate with all our friends--we are getting fuddrucker's catering, lots of cupcakes, rockband set up in the back room, dance floor, open bar.
The space is pretty open, it used to be a firehouse, but is now a event venue. We're having 6 round tables in the main room, and i will be getting potted orchids in small burlap bags to serve as "centerpieces" (but we don't have assigned seating, since the caterers will be serving burgers as they make them), and i have a bunch of votive candles that will look nice around the place.
Do you all think I need more decorations to fill the space? It is sort of an industrial looking place, so should I just embrace that feel? The party is two weeks away, so I'm sort of looking for something that doesn't involve a lot of work haha!
Here are some pics of the place:
and a floorplan or what everything will look like setup (video games will go in the back room with a projector, bar on the left room with some cocktail tables):
Should I just stick with my plan or add a few more decorations?
