Ok, I've updated the pictures, let me know if it still doesn't work!
I love it! And second guessing is normal - I do it all the time even though I love my dress!
What's the color, is it slightly champagne? It looks white on my computer screen. Looks like a very nice wedding dress to me!
What about it doesn't look like a wedding dress? It is a very, very classic and traditional white wedding dress -- am I not seeing somethingt? From the train to the bodice to the lace to... everything, it's 100 percent absolutely tried-and-true wedding dress. It looks very pretty and flattering on you.
it is ivory lace over a champagne color. you have no idea how relieved that makes me! I just pictured myself in a white/ivory dress. I think it's the champagne color thats throwing me off
It looks like a wedding dress and very bridal to me. You said you love lace and halter style, that's definitely what you got! And the pictures of the back are just gorgeous! Oh, and it looks white on my screen too.
It looks beautiful! The champagne color really makes the lace pop and it looks gorgeous. The neckline is very pretty, too- it really shows off your shoulders and collarbone. Don't second guess- this one is great!
If there's something wrong with that dress, I don't see it... it's a beautiful, obviously bridal dress. :)
When I see it I think,

If that dress doesn't scream "Bridal" I don't know what will. It really is a beautiful dress and yes, you're mom was right. Romantic would certainly be the word I would use to describe it.
I know most brides will feel dress regret, but just remember, there was something sepcial about the dress or else you would have never even considered buying it.
It is lovely! Looks totally bridal:) I second guessed my maggie as well! As they say the bride makes the dress - NOT the other way around. It really is lovely though!
I think you get the idea but I agree with everyone else, it embodies wedding. On my screen it looks white as well and you have the perfect shoulders for a halter, good choice!

I think it's pretty. A lot of brides end up falling in love with a dress that's not quite what they expected.
Heck, a lot of brides end up falling in love with a groom that's not quite what they expected.
Doesn't mean it's not the perfect choice!
Thank you everyone! I really needed your objective opinions...it definitely isn't what I thought I would get. You know, I thought I would buy a strapless bright white dress but I tried on a bunch of those and nothing really grabbed me. Now I just need to shed some lbs and then I'll be ready! Thanks again everyone!
Oh my goodness....please do not worry anymore!! You made an excellent decision! Your dress is truely gorgeous and very much bridal :) I love the details and the halter style is very flattering on you. I also really like the color...it makes it look more "rich and elegant" if that makes sense. If you wanted to look even more like a bride, maybe add a cathedral veil?

Hello everyone! I went dress shopping for the first time last weekend and I bought a maggie sottero dress. The problem is now I'm second guessing my decision (which I've heard is normal). I wanted something a little different, I love lace and halter style dresses. I've attached some photos and PLEASE be honest with me. I'm worried it doesn't look like a wedding dress. I'm also worried about the color but my mom said it looks "romantic". Keep in mind it's the sample, but since it's too big so you can't see the corset top in the back.
