Probably to much yellow. And you have to have a certain skin tone for yellow to look good. I was going to do a bright yellow. Decided on a belt instead. We're doing a jade dress, with yellow belt. Sunflowers, white gerber daisies, and billyballs.
is there another color that might go? Green?
My BM's are getting a light yellow dress (Daisy Yellow) and the bouquets are going to be a bright orange something (haven't thought that through yet). But yeah, I think that's too much yellow, the yellow bouquets won't really "pop" in front of a yellow dress, ya know?
@gogogiraffes: I was going to say a similar thing! Yellow doesn't flatter a lot of people (aka - me)
Andwayt eh centres of sunflowers are dark, could you not go with that (maroony-brown) and then add a sash. My two penneth!
I agree that yellow dresses would be too much. I'd rather go with something to contrast the yellow of the bouquets.
Chocolate brown, or an olive-y green would be nice... to go with the stems or centers of the sunflowers. Even another neutral colour (like taupe or black) would work.
In my head, I'm picturing a two-tone dress, with an ivory top, and chocolate brown skirt.

My girls are wearing a Jade dress with a yellow belt. This isn't the exact dress they're wearing but it's similar.
I fully agree that it will be too much yellow. Definitely at least orange, or you might need to toss in an extra color. A yellow sash could be pretty!
I agree. No yellow dresses. Too much yellow. I think even a yellow sash would compete with the yellow bouquets the girls are holding.
Here is what orange dresses and sunflowers would look like. It would look nice. 
But I think blue dresses would look fantastic and really make those yellow sunflowers pop!
i love the blue dresses idea, but then that would make blue one of your colours, which is a contrast to the yellow/orange/sunflower, but blue is gorgeous :)
On second thought (after rereading your op) a pale yellow would look nice too. The sunflowers still pop! Actually I like the pale yellow better than the orange. BTW - It was hard to find a pic of pale yellow dresses and sunflower bouquets!
Thank you ladies! I actually decided on going with pale yellow dresses and having them carry bouquets with a lot more orange. I'm going to go ahead and add more orange to the centerpieces too to get more of a mix of both colors instead of having too much yellow anywhere. Thanks for all of your input!

I'm having a really hard time deciding on what color my bridesmaids should wear for my wedding. We are getting married in the summer and will be using Sunflowers as our main flowers and orange will be the second color used. Should my bridesmaids wear yellow or orange? Their bouqets will include sunflowers and maybe orange daises and our centerpieces will be mostly sunflowers also. The yellow I'm looking at is more of a pastel color... I'm afraid a sunflower bridesmaid bouqet and yellow pastel dress may be too much. Any suggestions? Thanks!
