Hi Bees! I need some fitness/health motivation tips to get through the next two weeks before my wedding. I am very proud to say that I’ve lost 15lbs in the last 6 months – approx 2lbs a month, so it was a very gradual/healthy method. 130lbs to 115lbs (I’m 5’2″) I amped up my workouts, added lifting weights to my regimen – and started running more. My fiance and I also started to eat healthier – esp our dinners (for example, protein and fruit smoothies, stirfry with tofu…) I also started counting calories – which has been a big eye opener. In addition, I bought a Body Media (similar to a BodyBugg – if you’re familiar with that..) So I am VERY aware of the amt of calories I’m burning at any given point.
The problem? I am seriously backsliding! I’m eating MORE, and not caring as much as I did about sticking to the diet… And I just have 2.5 weeks to go! I need to reign it in – but my motivation appears to have disappeared. (Doesn’t help that the Fiance is off the diet bandwagon…) We’ve been eating frozen yogurt nearly every night – and going out to dinner vs cooking at home. And I’ve been snacking at work… chips, cookies, chocolate (I’m a nurse, so it seems as though there is ALWAYS junk food around at work – and limited time to sit down to eat a proper meal during the 12hr shift…)
Please help – any words of motivation will do…
