We've booked an awesome DJ, but i don't think he travels to your location, he's way down south. I don't know about any bands :(
If you need our DJ info, just in case, let me know.
Let me know what you find... I am in the same boat. I wanted to have live music for the cocktail hour & then a DJ... but that might not be cost effective! I have heard good things about R-J Vida (DJ) from my wedding planner.
Krystal I ended up just booking Grant Hemond DJ using Rob Vollmar. He has a lot of good reviews on wedding wire so I'm hoping it will be great!

I booked with Grant Hemond using Ben, I have heard so many great things about their company I think we will all love our DJ's!
A good band is DeLeon. I had them for my wedding- they're awesome!

Hey everyone FI and I need to find a band but we would also consider a REALLY GOOD dj! What are the bands (or djs) you have considered, gone with, or seen at other local weddings. We have literally done nothing and I had a mini panic attack yesterday that we are 8 months from the wedding and only have our venue. So today I am getting on it, trying to find some of the other vendors we need.
