From what I know about health, there’s no healthy way to do this.  The only thing I can think is don’t eat.  And I don’t advise that.

With only 5 1/2 weeks to your wedding date, I’d say losing 15lbs is a bit unrealistic.

However, you CAN still loose a few pounds (probably 10 or less) by drinking a LOT of water (at LEAST a liter a day), not touching a drop of any sort of processed food, no juices, limit your fruit intake, lean protein, healthy veggies, I’d honestly take out all your carbs as well (breads, pasta, etc) and do cardio for a solid 45 mins a day (stationary bike, speedwalking, etc).

Yeah I don’t advise crash dieting, it will all come right back. Trust me, I know.

You’ve got a little more than a month, and you can healthily lose up to 2 pounds a week. So my best advice would be to eat better and start a workout regime (start slow and build up). Respect your body, don’t hurt it. If you want serious fat loss, you need to do resistance training, just be careful if you’ve never done it before.

Eat what you’re made of, proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids.

I’m not sure how well body wrapping works.  You can probably do the same thing by drinking lots of water, eating water rich food like watermelon and cut down on salty foods.  No matter what your weight is, you will look beautiful!

For the record, I really don’t think a no carb diet is a good idea. Your body is made of carbs, and you kind of need them to function. You can cut back, but I wouldn’t cut them out.

@Michelle Dombrowski:  I lost 10 pounds is 2 weeks by doing a 5 day master cleanse detox, took 6 tonalin CLA  (natural weight burner) and a 2 choline as well as eating greek yogurt with fruit in the morning and snacking on granola and veggies but ate pretty normal otherwise. 

Its also great if you replace 1 meal a day with a protein shake and do about 20 minutes of intense cardio everyday, I did tae bo and whew, it helps with your stamina and burns some serious calories.

You can get more toned and lose a reasonable amount of weight, but it’s best to do it in a healthy way so it doesn’t all come back! I highly recommend Weight Watchers; doing the program, it is easy to lose about 2lbs a week with no foods being off limits while you build habits that will carry into your married life (believe me, the first year of marriage is killer for keeping weight off). This plus exercise should get you close in a healthy way. Good luck!

I’ve been using myfitnesspal to track my food and exercise. For my height/weight they suggested I consume a net of 1250 calories a day. (That means if I exercise, I eat whatever calories I burned). If you eat fewer than 1200-1300 net calories a day, it will be harder to lose weight because your body is trying to conserve its resources.

Diet will be key. Clean foods – limit white carbs, lots of veggies, fruit and lean meats. Some good fat (olive oil, mixed nuts, avacado) to balance things.

I lost 30 pounds in 3 months by eating 1250 net calories, eating healthy foods, and exercising (running and biking).

You can do it. Try gym classes or a Jillian Michael’s DVD to help tone up. It will help you get smaller as you tone.

I would say go on a all veggie and white fish diet and nothing but water.. Run run run and tennis is great .. some of the weight may be waste so a good cleanse would be great ..
