I like #1 and #3. I think they will both look good with the Bridesmaid or Best Man dress and def both re-wearable!

I like the first one, but I also think you could get away with big earrings and no necklace.

What part of MN are you from?

@78science:  Oh you’re way up there hahaha! I’m in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis so I’m pretty far south of you 🙂

For me, #1 and #3 are too much of statement pieces, the dress is nice on its own so I like the subtlety of #2 buuuut it just depends what style you prefer. Do you know what kind of necklace you plan to wear? (ie if it’s simple you might not want the BMs having huge ones, and vice versa)

Also, I personally think its weird to have the round shape with the v-neck dress, I think a pendant would fill the space in a better way.

I agree that the dress doesn’t need a necklace. However, if you do select a necklace, I would pick one that is least likely to be off-center in your pictures, i.e. a rounded one.

Also, I am just curious about something. You noted that it is not the gift that you plan to provide to your bridesmaids. Is this now considered to be a bad idea — to have their gift be the jewelry for the wedding? It was very common in the past, that’s why I am asking.
