I voted for none. The Roberto Cavalli dress looks pretty horrible on those very thin women in the pictures so I need to see it on someone with some curves. The Inbal Dror I have a hard time imagining on so I just can’t vote for either one.

Sakari87:  I would opt for the Inbal. It’s a safe choice. Other bees have gotten that one (also on carabridal) and it looked great and well made.

I like the cavalli dress… however it doesn’t look very flattering on the model. She is extremely thin though. Are you as thin as her?

Sakari87:  What’s the budget for the second dress? If I was in your position I’d be looking at a sample or used gown as the back-up dress instead of risking it on another replica, what if they both don’t turn out right? I understand that these designers take wedding dresses to a whole new level but I think buying a sample or used dress would be a lot less risky and cause a lot less stress for a dress you probably won’t end up wearing anyway. Marisa Bridals has some really unique looking lace dresses if that helps at all.

The second dress is overall nicer, but it also seems like a safer choice in that it likely would be more flattering

Honestly Both look pretty horrible. The cavalli dress looks horrible on the model what’s up with the awkward cups? It makes her look way too thin and flat which in the second pic it looks like she has boobs the dress just fits her allll wrong. I like the first one your getting made by jbs but I don’t like either of your other choices.

I guess I’m in the minority because I LOVE the Roberto Cavalli one. The Inbal Dror one is gorgeous too of course but JBS doesn’t always ace that style cups, so I’m not sure it’s great as a safety dress.

I love this dress from Pallas Couture, which is sparkley, fitted, and with a low back, but then I’m not sure if it’s a good back up-either.

What about getting something Jasmine’s has made before? I think they consistently do an amazing job with the Galia Lahav “Giselle” dress.

Sakari87:  You most certainly are a braver woman than I, I really hope everything turns out stunning for you. I’m near Melbourne so if I can be of help at all let me know. One last thing that maybe you haven’t thought of is finding an evening gown as your back up, they tend to be cheaper than wedding dresses and would fit into your budget (I actually have a thread about it if you want to take a look). All just food for thought, best of luck 🙂

Wow. Some of us bees need to remember to be a bit more tactful when giving our opinion on a dress. The lady just said she fell in love with a dress and you tell her it’s horrible? Maybe it’s just me but it’s her day and a simple input without taking away from her wedding dress dream is sufficient.

As I told you before, you will look beautiful in anything but something about the back of the ID dress seems unfinished…almost like a corset and color looks odd. but if you like it….then who cares! I still think the GL isabella is going to be the winner with finger curls in hair.
