Hi Guys! This is my first post!! I just got engaged and my fiancé presented me with the most beautiful ring, however I don’t know how to keep it clean! There are so many different options..There are diamonds all around the band and the stone is set a little higher, what would be the best way to keep it sparkling like new? i.e.- sonic or cleaning cloths

Dawn dishwashing detergent + Warm water + Tooth brush = Jewler cleaned in seconds.

@HRLBSO2015: Welcome! Beautiful ring! I’ve always used toothpaste and a toothbrush. The fluoride in the toothpaste will pull the grime off 🙂

@Hyperventilate: Agree! best way I’ve found to keep all of my jewlery clean. I also have a cleaning cloth on my nightstand, so I can shine it up while I watch TV 🙂

I also use the Dawn, warm water, and toothbrush method! Works great!

@HRLBSO2015: Firstly, Congratulations! That is a very lovely ring!
I agree with other posters, I put hot water and a little dish washing soap and let the ring soak for a few minutes. Gentle scrub with a soft toothbrush and it’s good as new!

Congratulations! I just bought some jewelry cleaner from Target. It comes with a little basket and a brush. You put the ring in the basket, lower it into the cleaner, let it sit for 30 seconds, scrub with the little brush, then rinse with warm water. It makes it sparkle like crazy!

@HRLBSO2015: first off, congrats! I’m happy to see so many ovals lately!! I soak mine in water, with dishwashing liquid, then brush it with a soft bristle brush. I dry it with a paper towel and then “shine” it with a lens cleaning cloth. 🙂 Your ring is beautiful. 🙂

I think I bought the same “target” brand of jewlery cleaner except mine was the gel with a little brush its in a red small bottle. It works wonders!
They have it at walmart too

@HRLBSO2015: I clean mine under warm-hot water, with a soft tooth brush and simple, clear hand soap. It works well for me!
