Ooo… if you think it would be overwhelming at each table with all the colors, what if you did each table a different color with the napkins, and then you could tell people where to sit with colors. ex. John Doe green table

You could tie in the black and white with the skeleton theme aspect of the Day of the Dead, and maybe even make your centerpieces in the style of the altars…it’s a good idea… and I think you’re on the right track!

Yay for a rainbow wedding! I love option one. I think the black and white checkerboard is a perfect backdrop to a day of the dead celebration : D

I absolutely agree! Lots of bright happy colors make for a cheerful celebration. Yeah I would let the theme be a surprise. They might picture some dreadful vampire gothic celebration otherwise :p

I honestly wouldn’t tell anyone my theme and let it be a complete surprise to all when they walk in. But then again I am sometimes a brat that way! I dislike argument so I try never to give people a chance. I love your theme btw!

My idea would be to stick with the black white and red through out your tables but for center pieces, if you like to get crafty, would be to make cloroful tissue paper flower arrangements/pomanders. Hang your banners overhead and and maybe use some to make a swag on the front of the head table.  You could make your own colorful day of the dead inspired table numbers and seating chart. Maybe do something colorful with your wedding cake, like a sugar skull with flowers as a cake topper.
