I got married on New Year's Eve too, and we did black and ivory with gold accents.
I also think using both would be nice. If not, either one alone will be nice as well.
Thanks everyone! Here is the color of the Bridesmaid dresses- any thoughts on jewelry colors, silver or gold?
I voted for gold, but its my favorite color, so maybe I am biaed.

I'm getting married on new years eve too and were doing silver accents... I think its been easier to find silver decorations and i think it "sparkles" more.... which is apparently what the people I know want to see! they keep suggesting the gaudy sparkly stuff that are just not what were going for!
with that being said.. I think that the gold would be a nice warm accent to the color of your BM dresses, but I think generally people wear silver tones more :)... were doing champagne shoes for all the girls, but theyre dresses are eggplant

I voted silver because red and gold seems more christmas-y than new years. I have always associated silver with new years.
My christmas tress has that colour with gold. I picture blue and silver together.
I personally like either but my frrst choice for our wedding colors were pale salmon pink, ivory and gold. Finding the right gold shades for everything has been really difficult. I think silver would be much easier to source as the shade doesn't vary as much.

When you think of New Year’s Eve, do you think of Silver or Gold or both? I have to decide for flower girls, shoes and jewelry and really need help! The bridesmaids are wearing an iridescent red color- so I need it to accent that as well...
