Hi everyone. I’m having trouble thinking of what the my neice’s and nephew should do during the procession for our ceremony.
I have 4 nieces, ages 3, 4, 4, 6, and nephew age 10. These are the only children from our immediate family, so we want them all to be included in the ceremony. Our dog will be wearing the rings around his neck, while being walked down by a bridesmaid. Since my dog will be carrying the rings, my nephew is not going to be a “ringbearer” technically, but we’d still like for him to walk down with the rest of the kids during the procession (plus he really wants to too).
So far thinking the order will be: nephew & oldest niece together, followed by the two 4yr olds together, followed by the littest niece. Not sure if they all need to be holding something or doing something as they walk down the aisle… We get 1 flowergirl basket included in our florist package, maybe we give that to the 6yo Flower Girl (or the 3yo), and have the younger FGs carry pomanders? Or ribbon wands? Or blowing bubbles? I really don’t know. Suggestions and ideas on the order, and if/or what they should be holding/doing as they walk down would be greatly appreciated! This is boggling my mind haha.
Oh and wedding will be an outdoor garden ceremony during the late afternoon.
