I think for the recessional we’re going to use I’m Yours by Jason Mraz to kind of stick with the laid back feeling of the “tropical” version of somewhere/rainbow.

Maybe you could just play some instrumental music, like acoustic guitar covers of popular songs? Guitar has a very natural, beautiful sound that lends itself to the beach. Check out these videos

Etta James- At last- played on acoustic guitar

When you wish upon a star- acoustic guitar

Ave maria- acoustic

I used Jason Mraz songs, as well.  The bridal party walked to a version of “Lucky” (half Spanish for my Cuban family), and I walked to a live version of “I’m Yours” that featured a bongo player. Here are links:

Also, at the end of our ceremony, we went straight into a first dance to Ben Harper’s “In the Colors.”

There’s also the old standy, “Sea of Love” by the Honeydrippers.

Or Dave Matthews’ “You and Me”
