I know this is farther out, but have you looked at the River Birch Lodge in Hartland? It's kind of expensive, and is more elegant rustic. Maybe Domino's Farm?
My soon to be mother in law just went to a wedding at River Birch. We love the idea but I think the venue is too small.

Would you consider a Friday or a Sunday? It is cheaper and probably available at some point.

I have, but the problem with misty farm is they rent the whole venue out for the weekend. Cobblestone has a policy that everything needs to set up and cleaned up between the rental times.
I am in the SAME boat you are! I am *in love* with Cobblestone, therefore, I've set my wedding date further into 2013. I've still been searching everyday for rustic venues. Here are a few that I've found :)

I don't know if it's rustic enough for what you're looking for, but you could check out Waldenwoods in Hartland-
http://www.englishinn.com/ Dustys English Inn in Eaton Rapids, a little farther NW from Livonia, but might work!

So I've been searching for a rustic wedding venue. I have tried Misty Farms and Cobblestone, both are booked for all 2012 Saturdays. Our guest list is around 185-200. Does anyone else know of any other venue that is pretty rustic?
