@EmiliaRose:  Ha! Yes! I felt this way also, my hair was like 90% ok but there was this one strand that was out of place (Why did no one point it out to me?!) and one strand that needed a little more oompf in the curl.  Oh well, what ya gonna do?  I think your feelings of “how do I get over it?” will go away with time.

@mchitt329:  +1. In time it won’t matter anymore. It seems like a big deal now because it just happened.

@EmiliaRose:  Yeah, this is a classic case in which it will become less and less of an issue over time. We put so much time and effort into wedding planning that any little thing that goes wrong is a crushing blow. But with time, we remember the important parts (the commitment, the ceremony, the friends/family, the love) and worry less about the details. Print the pictures you like and don’t worry about the rest. Focus on the good stuff!

@EmiliaRose:  Photoshop does wonderful things, my dear. If you don’t like it, change it 😛 Otherwise, like you said, profile the pictures you love and forget the rest. I’m sure you got hundreds so just focus on the good ones.

@EmiliaRose:  I had the same problem. At both of my wedding ceremonies. The first one got wrecked by the receiving line and hugging all these people that when it came to do the photos of just me and my husband my hair looked meesed up in some pictures. My second ceremony was a destination one in the Caribbean and my hair got ruined my the rain and looks gross in some of the pictures but I learned to get over it now and ther were still a few pictures that it looked ok in

@EmiliaRose:  I had a big strand of hair out of place on our STDs I didn’t notice until about 6 months after they were out…. I really doubt anyone else did.

That last comment: “Thinking back to friends’ weddings…I can’t even remember how they had their hair in most cases…” pretty much sums up how I went about wedding planning.  Do I remember anyone elses centerpieces – nope!  Do I remember anyone elses BM dresses – nope!  I remember dresses (good or bad) and anything particularly terrible (the food at one wedding…) but those things don’t matter after you’re married! 🙂

@mchitt329:  This is SO true!  My best friend hated her hair at her wedding, but we all LOVED the photos and to me, it looked totally fine.  I can see what bothered her after, but it’s not something that would’ve bothered anyone else.  Is it because it’s not in your style comfort zone or was messy?

@EmiliaRose:  Yes!  I am in the same boat!  I had extenstions and they did NOT want to stay curled at all and it rained that day.  So in the beginning all looked good but as the night went on, my extentions were nearly straight while my real hair was curled.  It was obvious at that point that I had in extensions.  I am not sure how to get over it, as I haven’t yet!  I look at everyone elses pictures and just wish I had put my hair up.  I am glad I am not alone though!!!!

@EmiliaRose:  As long as it’s not messy, I’d keep the pics.  No one else will probably know that it’s different from what you wanted.

Yeah I had the same thing happen.  I loved my make-up artist and she reccomended this hair stylist. I hated my hair trial, she just didn’t listen to what I wanted, but we talked about it and it really seemed like she finally understood what I wanted.  She didn’t. It was okay..but not at all what I dreamed of.
