Those dresses are all so pretty! Of the three, I like the first on the best. However, I think the second one is the most flattering on your figure. I just think the first one is so unique. After alterations, I think it would be more flattering on you. Like your salesperson said, you could alter the skirt to make it more fitting. Since you’re over a year away, you could wait another couple months and try them on again and see what you think. Maybe by then, some new dresses will be out and you might find the perfect one. Good luck!

I think the Anna campbell does swallow you up a bit.

I think #2 is much more flattering, but the back is veerying into buttcrack territory.

    #3 I just dont like.

I say you do another round of shopping at the end of summer!

I love both of the Alvina Valentas (I wore her on my wedding day so I might be a bit biased)!!

I lovvvvve the first gown but I really believe that you’ll just know when you find the right gown. You won’t be able to take it off. You’ll be obsessed with yourself in it. Wait for that gown. It’s really hard to wait 13 months & if you don’t LOVE your gown you’ll keep looking.

taraelizabeth:  Truthfully, I do not like the no back so I really am not a fan of any of them. However, I like the last one the best.

I lovw Anna Campbell. They are elegant and vintage at the same time with a very reasonable price.  The back of her gowns are amazing.  That being said I would keep looking for a couple of more months to make sure the dress that you pick fits your theme and your venue.  I am an October 2015 bride and it just seems like it can’t come fast enough so I understand what you mean about wanting to get the dress out of the way.  I am sure that you will pick a stunning dress.

I love the idea of Anna Campbell dresses but I don’t think the first is the most flattering fit on you, tbh (and they can be really hard to pull off because they’re so slinky with so much detail). The empire-ish waist looks a bit baggy and the entire bodice has very little structure. The back is gorgeous though. I really think the second dress is wonderful. But if you’re not feeling any of these 100%, you do have time. Wait it out and try on some more. Maybe some other Anna Campbell gowns with a slightly different neckline/waist?

I love the dress you ended up with. May I ask where you tried on an Anna Campbell dress?
