@Brussell32412:  That sounds definately like a scam! Because if you are selling, why would you need to send any money to the buyer? I have also heard that Western Union is used by scammers. They will tell you that it is safe but people can scam you nevertheless… Please do not send money to this person asking you to! As a seller you only need to pay for the postage of the dress after you have received the money… And only if you agree to pay for the postage. Hope this helps… 🙂

Do not get involved in anyhting that has you sending any money to anyone. You are the seller not the buyer. There are all sorts of scammers out there who will do things like pretending they only have a money order for a sum larger than the cost of your dress. They ask you to send them the difference. Then you find out their money order is a fake.

Only use Paypal so you know the transaction is good before you ship the dress.

@Brussell32412:  That sounds still pretty, pretty dodgy! Why cant she pay the private shipper herself? Did she get back to you yet, after you told her that you wont do Western Union?

@Brussell32412:  She is lying, and she may not even be a she. They are often not interested in the item you are selling at all. It”s just a ruse to get people to send them money.
