I just got my hair done tonight and I need help fixing it. I have a really really dark base almost black and I wanted platinum blond highlights. Well after having something on my hair for three hours and adding a toner I have platinum roots with very brassy highlights, how do I fix this at home or can I. Is there a platinum toner that I can put on my hair at home to change the color of my highlights? Any help would be greatly appreciated I can’t go out for New Year’s Eve with hair like this and I don’t have time to book another appointment to fix it.

OK well I first must ask why you left if you were not happy with it… big no no… Another big no no to the stylist… is not knowing that you cant take someone with almost black hair to platinum blonde safely in one process this usually takes 2 or 3 times to lift that many levels.
Honestly there is nothing you can do at home to correct this short of getting some semi permanent haircolor with a violet base or a neutral base and applying it to your hair… You could go with a medium to dark blonde and still have the difference you were seeking but it would not be a platium or nearly as light

Thanks for your help. I ended up going back and going back to my natural color all over. I was so frustrated the other day after being there for over 4 hours that I had to get out. But thanks for your help.
