pleaae help! I found this sketch for a dress online but can’t really find something that resembles it in real life? For our 1 year anniversary we are having a big wedding party for all my family in Australia (we had a small wedding in Hawaii) so want a wedding dress style but need to incorporate yellow into it somehow aa that’s the colour for the 1 year anniversary. I’m not too bothered about the top, but if anyone has seen that style bottom (coloured ruffled train) I would love to see pics. I’m fine with getting it made from scratch as I have an amazing designer here, jit’s want to see and know if this idea will work! Thanks.

@SimplyEuphoric: thanks so much. Love the ombré style and that dress, but not too fussed if I can do that or not, it’s mainly the yellow ruffle train I’m thinking about or is that too big bird… Shake your tail feather??? Lol

@aussieeems: you actually want the dress done in the yellow? It may be a bit big birdy with the ruffles. I do like the idea of a yellow ombre dress though, its very different.
Sorry i dont have any idea of any similar dresses. Perhaps try prom dresses? Yellow isnt really popular in wedding attire right now.

The overall silhouette of the dress doesn’t look too complex. Hmmm, maybe look into somewhere like Dressilyme or see if another knock-off designer can make it? Have you tried Etsy as well?

The website listed on the sketch seems to do custom dresses… but I’m going to vote that I don’t particularly like the craftsmanship on the dress that’s closest to this one that you like: http://www.availco.com/mermaid-wedding-dress-with-amazing-ruffled-organza-train/
Actually I’d say that for the photos of their other styles, too… not so great on the craftsmanship. Sorry, just my opinion!
How about gold instead of yellow? I think you’re right about the yellow ruffles being a bit birdy.
ALSO, you can always have a white dress with a yellow petticoat!
I’m doing a white dress with a teal petticoat… so excited about it!
