You might check out some of the Northern Virginia parks. Here is a list that shows which ones have meeting and reception rooms, and/or gazebos for weddings.
We searched for about three months until we found our venue. The search can be exhausting! There are a few spots in Montgomery Cty or Prince George's Cty you may want to check out. Both areas have venues that will meets all of your requirements.

Yes, we are actually getting married in our backyard. We just bought a house in the country of Southern Maryland and it meets all of our criteria! Thanks for your suggestions :)

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My fiance and I are super excited to be engaged, and now it is in my hands to find a wedding venue. We will be paying for the wedding by ourselves (possibly with a little help from our parents, but doubtful)! I'm hoping to spend less than $5000 total for the day. We're contemplating just running down to the Arlington Courthouse and getting married, but we would like to have a reception. Anyway, we will have about 75-100 guests and want to get married between October 2011 - May 2012 and stay within a couple hours of DC.
This is my wish list:
-Indoor/Outdoor area
-Outside catering
-Outside alcohol
-Scenic
-Hotel close by
-Parking for guests
-Tables, chairs, linens, etc provided
I would appreciate any help I can get from anyone! I'm new to the area and am not famiiar with any venues.
Thanks!
