SO SO happy to be posting my mid-production pics of my Justin Alexander 8610 replica.
So, here’s a reminder of the original:
And I’d wanted it made without the side bow like this (not me in the dress, another bee’s pic):
Here’s MY ACTUALL DRESS:
I really am SO SO happy with it, I realise there are some differences between mine and the original:
1. The embelishment on mine is much smaller and spaced out, when I first noticed this I thought OK I’m going to tell them that and ask for less spacing, more sparkle and also the addition of pearls but now I’m seeing how the dress looks for someone my size I kind of like the smaller embellishment, what do you guys think?
2. I’d asked for a thin edge on the exterior layer or tulle but from the pictures the edge is either really thin or not there so I will ask about that; do any bees know whether this would be an easy addittion? Because I do actually really like how it looks in the pics!
3. I realise there are more buttons my dress than the original but it’s ok as i LOVE my buttons and this way they’ll be seen even with my hair down! Also with the buttons in the pics it looks like the flap to cover the zip doesn’t actually cover the zip, do you bees think this could be how it sits on the maniquin?
I’d really appreciate any further comments, thanks so so much

I must say I LOVE those buttons!!!!! So pretty 🙂 i sort of see what you mean, about the buttoms not really covering the zipper, but I think from further away no one will notice, especially because those buttons sparkle so much!!!

I think its beautiful.
Also I take it this is a chinese replica, im sorry but I think you should be very happy with it. When i got my Chinese replica sure it was only 80-90% the same as the picture, but 10% of the price. You have to accept those differences.
Also by being slightly different yours is unique, WAY better. And no one else will know, the guests are not going to hold up a picture of the original and say yours has more buttons. It looks great.
As for the zip cover, if when you get it it does not quite cover just stitich on a little hook and eye. And remember you got a beautiful dress for a bargain you should be over the moon!

@Pink Turtle: She is very happy with it!
I think it’s looking very nice so far!

@happylizzle: Hopefully this isnt a repeat post, just lost all my comments.
I think it is an amazing dress for mid production. Jasmines has done a wonderful job. Agree that for your size (boy you are tiny) the size of the beading is just very appropriate.
Regarding the edge on the tulle you mentioned, do you mean on the bottom of the skirt? If yes, then I am not sure I would be having that as it would give you a ‘solid’ edge, like the hem of a dress. This way it just looks like lots of ‘froth’ and very smooth looking.
Beautiful dress, no wonder you are happy!!

Love it, just gorgeous.
I don’t understand what you mean by a thin edge on the exterior layer or tulle. The braid at the bottom of the skirt? If that is it, I think it looks better without it but that is just personal opinion.
They can add extra bling that should not be an issue.
The zip flap appears to cover the zip, they have a seam running down the edge but the zip looks covered to me. Perhaps I’m missing something.
Overall a stunning dress – just a few little things and your dress is done. Yay.

@Sunnyday278: Thanks so much for your comments, I LOVE the buttons too! I agree that the zipper would harly be noticable aswell, especially as I’m having my hair down and it’s almost to my waist and quite thick and curly!
@Pink Turtle: oh please don’t get me wrong I am SO SO SO happy with it, so happy I was crying in happiness! As I was saying I think even with the three points I still prefer it how Jasmines have made it, it’s like they’ve made my dream dress a reality LITERALLY! Thanks for the hook and eye recommendation, really appreciate it
@sienna76: I am very happy with it indeed!! Thank u!
@Aussiemum: Thanks for your reply, sorry that you lost your comments, so annoying when that happens! Lol, you know I didn’t think I was that tiny until I saw that! I guess it’s coz my lower half is bigger than my upper (I have a big bum! lol!)
With the edge of the tulle I did mean the bottom of the skirt as the original has a very thin hem but I agree that how Jasmines have done it does make it look really smooth.
I’m so unbelievably happy with my dress, can’t stop looking at the pics!

@mishagirls79: Thank you!
@hiheel: Thanks for your comment, yes there was a thin braid on the bottom edge of the original dress and I’d sent pics to Jasmines, I was originally dealing with Lisa so I think that bit might have got a bit lost but nevermind as I really do think it looks nicer the way Jasmines have made it!
I’m still not sure whether to add more bling, I will sleep on it!
The zip flap at the top (I think you can see it in pic 9) seems to expose the zip but I’m not sure if it’s just the pic or how it’s arranged on the maniquin?!
Yay indeed SO exited!!!

I wish I had normal people measurements. I would totally have gone through a place like this for my dress if I wasn’t scared of my measurements screwing things up!
It looks lovely. Congrats on the dress. Those buttons are awesome! When will it be ready and shipped to you? I hope you share pictures with us!

Wow this dress is so close to the orginal. And it looks so well made.
I agree with you that the embelishment is smaller but it’s not that noticeable and looks nice the way it is. And i think the zipper problem is probably just the fit on the maniquin. You should definitely ask them just to double check. And the buttons are perfect.
Congrats! Can’t wait to see you in the dress.

@happylizzle: you should love it, its stunning, you will look amazing on your day.

@MrsFutureG: Oh my measurements are by no means normal, I always have a smaller size on top and can hardly ever find the right size for my bottom half! lol! I’m also quite short! lol! Thanks though, love the buttons too! The predicted delivery date when I ordered it was 9th Jan. I will defo share pics, cannot wait!!
@sruan: Thank you! It definately looks really well made and so so close to the original, I can’t stop being impressed! lol! I will defo ask them about the zipper
I’m still so stuck with my decision on the embelishment, so not sure whether to add more and minimise the spacing to make it more of a feature, as it is the main feature of my dress, or to keep it as it is as I’m sure it’d still be really sparkly and stand out! AH! lol!
@Pink Turtle: Thanks! btw I got it from Jasmines Bridal and with these mid-production pics you can choose to change things etc. and sometimes the dress isn’t fully finished yet, that’s why I’m just making ultra sure and getting lots of opinions!
