I hope you can help me. I’m making pocketfold invites in dark grey. The inside main invite will be printed on white card stuck on top of a lilac card to creat a border. The font is dark grey.
Basically, I want to put a pale lilac background to the main invite, maybe a swirly pattern or something but I have looked high and low online for something but can’t Find anything that looks modern (SO doesn’t want flowers or damask). I don’t really know what to type in to google. I’d be willing to buy a pattern if I couldn’t get it for free. It doesn’t have to cover the whole invite, I just want to add some colour and interest because of the grey.
Any advise, website suggestions or tips will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks x

did you want the whole invite covered in a faint pattern like this
or just a flourish detail in the corners or something?

I’m not entirely sure!! I justthink the invite needs a little colour. Dont even know where to begin looking!

I would come up with key words “swirl” “curly” “modern design”, etc and then search it with “vector” “background”. You can easily alter the color later on. I did a swirly background for my friend and actually layered a bunch of seperate swirls and made a new picture.

I’d check out devianart.com, a lot of artists will allow you to use their work for personal things (such as your own invites, computer wallpaper, etc).
