@Cynderbug:  Hi there, I got married last June in the pacific NW as well and for fillers, I had waxflowers and hypericum berries. I love the little waxflowers. I always think they’re like little happy faces 🙂

Thank you! 🙂 Waxflowers come in pink too! And I saw them at florists fairly often in Vancouver so it shouldn’t be a problem around there. I think of everything involved in the wedding, I agonized about flowers and colours the most and still ended up choosing simple roses in ivory and golden yellow 😛 There were also a few stocks in the centrepieces I think, and freesias in my bridal bouquet. I found a picture of all our flowers:

We are arding alstromeria & spider mums to our main flower choices to add some volume & bring the floral costs down in any non-bouquet arrangements.
