Check online to see if you can find "reed diffuser bottle tops"--they are basically these pieces of silver plastic that cover the top part where a cap would screw on.
good luck! those are a great color!
I'm thinking you should use a different color than blue. What are your other colors?
You could just take a piece of ribbon and wrap it around (hot glue it to keep it secure) and then tie it in a little bow, maybe? The bottles look rather small, so you probably should keep the ribbon to a minimum so it doesn't detract from the flower you are going to insert. If you tie it in a bow, make sure the ends aren't hanging down very far, probably no longer than mid-bottle.
What are your other colors? I would do a pretty satin ribbon in a contrasting but complimentary color. I would also get one that is wider (like 2x wider) than the ribbed top of the bottle to make sure it covers it well. You could make a bow with the ribbon or a simple knot, depending on the look you want. If you want something more organic you could order moss and cover the top with it, but not sure how well moss works with gerber daisies....so the ribbon idea probably works better.
I think i would make a label to go on the bottle... like a light blue color to compliment. That way it distracts from the top, but the ribbon ideas that the girls have written above sound pretty cute!
I love ccranetobe's idea about making a label. You can do a beautiful design -- like a paper cut-out of some sort -- or a silhouette or even a favorite photo printed on vellum. Or you can use the bottles as table numbers by cutting out numbers or printing numbers on labels. Tons of exciting possibilities! And I love cobalt vases! SO pretty.

I love blue glass and blue is one of our colors so I wanted to do cobalt bud vases with shortened Gerbera Daisies for our centerpieces but all the cobalt bud vases I found were too expensive. I bought one of these bottles for a trial and they work well but I want to make the top prettier. Any ideas how to 'disguise' the bottle top? I was thinking a ribbon but what's the best kind to use, best way to attach it, etc.? Also, should I get a blue ribbon or use one of our other colors? Any ideas.....please?!?!?
