Our wedding is in 3 months and we just ordered our invites a few weeks ago. We’ve decided that we like the look of printed invitations, so we’re going to run the envelopes through the printer. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did the envelopes get stuck?
There are no calligraphers in our area and our writing looks like chicken scratch so that’s not an option.
Anyone have any suggestions on printers? Best way to get this done?
Thank you all!

@Readytojet: I printed addresses on our envelopes. I used the special paper feed tray rather than the main tray and had the envelopes pop out of a special output. If your printer doesn’t have this option, don’t worry. The envelopes should still come through alright but might get a little wrinkled. Make sure to get some practice envelopes, cheap ones that are the same size and close to the same weight.
Do you know how to you the Mail Merge option on Word? It’s SO useful. There’s some extra work with having to put together a spreadsheet first, but once that’s done, the editing process is so much easier. Good luck!
