Hi ladies!

I really need your help, I'm just about to order my dress. But I'm SO stuck between the Pronovias 'Megara' or the Maggie Sottero 'SaBelle' - they're both very similar but also very differemt.

I love the corset back of the Sabelle but I love the silkier material of the Megara!!

Has anyone got any advice or had this problem before?

Looking forward to hearing from you... help me!

I love Sabelle, but that's because I'm a Sabelle bride! It's a whole lotta dress!  You have to ask yourself which one can you see yourself get married in, which one calls more to you.  It's that WOW factor that did it for me, but only you can make the decision -- you'll be wearing it.  Also, the bridal store might be able to put a corset back in the first dress if you love the fabric and that dress more.

I'm still torn between the two! I asked the 'Megara' shop if they could put a corset back on the dress but they said no.

ReeandB7210 - did you ever worry that the SaBelle was to BIG? I absolutely LOVE it and feel like a princess in it but worry that people will think i'm trying to look like cinderella in it!?

Thanks Pennydreadful, It's tough because no one person has seen be in both dresses... mum and one of my bridesmaids has seen the SaBelle and one of my other BM has seen the Megara... they loved them both! My fiance says just to follow my heart and go with the one I like... but I love them both so much... I DO feel slightly more comfortable in the Megara (it's not so heavy). Oh i don't know....Hmmmmm.... x

I have tried on both - twice... unfortunately neither shop would let me take photos!!!! grrr... I think i'm going to go with the Pronovias! I just had a loooong chat with mum (you can't beat it) and she's helped me decide... that, and the 90% of you ladies who prefer the Pronovias! he he.

I never felt Sabelle was too big, but I'm 5'10" so I guess I can carry the dress better than a petite bee.  If your worried about it being to heavy, go with the Megara...Sabelle is a heavy dress, and I'm wearing a crinolin skirt too!   But, it's worth it .  Good Luck!

Well I slept on it, and have decided to go with the Pronovias Megara! I'm soooo excited bee's. I loved the feeling when I first tried it on - kind of like 'ahhh, i'm home'. The material is so soft and the embroided detail is amazing. I'm also not huge on top but have broad shoulders, so the more straight finish (rather then the sweetheart) looks better on me. The lace underneath has so much more detail which is why i loved it so much initially - the contrast between the two fabrics really makes it stand out. Anyway, I fell in love with both dresses when I tried them on, but the megara stole my heart every so slightly more than the SaBelle. I'm sure I could still be swayed but i'm going to go with Pronovias!

As soon as I have some pics - i'll post them on here -could be a while though as I won't get the dress till July/August now! - seem like ages away!! :-(

ps - you don't think that the button/zip up back will stop me from getting that amazing (flattering) tight around the waist fit??? I always thought you could only get that with a corset.
