Beautiful pictures! Are you doing a lay flat book so there’s no gutter?

AlmostMrsPeck:  One of the “Related Topics” links below your post for me went to an Artisan State Album review with pictures. She showed that even though the pages were gutter-less, there were still some bumps down the middle. She recommended not putting any faces directly down the middle of the page, and that seems smart to me, having looked at the pictures she posted with her review.

AlmostMrsPeck:  Your cover photo is to die for. So gorgeous!!

Definitely watch out for faces that are on the seam.

Pages 9-10 are a bit… crazy. There’s a lot going on and my eyes glaze over a bit. Perhaps crop the really large photo so it doesn’t overlap with the small photos?

Other than that, I really love it! You had such a pretty wedding, looks like so much fun 🙂 I love the photo of you laughing on the last page! I’m sad your face is going to be cut by the seam there 🙁 Also that red-headed kid is ADORABLE!

AlmostMrsPeck:  Yes, looks less crazy on 9-10 now! Pg 15-16 cuts your face in half with the page turn, though :/ I would move the big picture on 31-32 over to the right more, so it doesn’t cut right through you and husband.

Your top cake is SO COOL with the ombre effect inside!

I was referring to the REALLY red headed kid (I have a weakness for red-heads and am hoping like heck I have at least one; FI is red-headed, I used to be when I was little but now I’m more auburn), but the almost-2-year-old is super duper cute too!

AlmostMrsPeck:  Then print the album! You’ll be so excited to finally have it in your hands 🙂 It’s beautiful and I’m sure you’ll look through it all the time!

Surprise red-heads are the best. My advisor’s kid has red hair that came from nowhere, so when he son was really little, he trained him to say he got the red hair from the mailman 😉

it looks really great!

I used artisan state for my parent’s albums and they turned out soo great! I’m working on our big wedding album for us right now.

One thing- and its very possible that you already know this and I’m preaching to the choir- be careful about the really large pictures. Even though I had very high def quality pictures, when I was working on my parent’s books(rectangle, one size smaller than the one you are making), a little yellow yield sign would come up if I tried to have a picture taking up the whole page, because it said the picture was blown up too much and it may print blurry. It will say something like “this picture is enlarged 30%- pictures up to 20% may not print to the best quality”. I had a bunch of those and had to go back and fiddle with the big pictures to get them closer to that 20%. The little yield will pop up even if it’s only like 9% – I ignored anything up to, like, 25% and fixed the rest, and all the pictures printed great. just FYI. 🙂
