We’re using “Keeper of the Stars” by Tracy Byrd (a more folky rendition by our musician) for our recessional.  For the processional I’m walking to “Grow Old with Me” by John Lennon.

Good luck!

thats soo funny.. my recessional is calico skies!! so i guess im not a major help..

bridal party and FI are walking in to Ben Folds- Luckiest and I am coming in to Bright Eyes- First Day of my Life. think the bright eyes song would make a sweet recessional too

we were considering” enter sandman”- metallica (a nod to moriano rivera of the yankees) or “another one bites the dust” to be silly.  we also thought of “all of my love” led zeppelin..  we are being introduced to Mike- Love Today.. which is really fun.

I listened to your song and found some with the same feel that have a faster tempo. Some of them you might have to get it timed so it’s starts during the chours…here’s some of my fav’s

You Are the Best Thing-Ray LaMontagne (about a minute in the chorus starts, and towards the ending it really gets going)

When She Loves You-Emerson Hart

Lets Stay Together-Al Green

Making Memories of Us- Keith Urban

I Have And Always Will-Dave Barnes

Until You-Dave Barnes (there’s a slow version on the you, the night and the candlelight album and a the fast rock version on me+you+the world album. I was thinking of playing the slow version during the last part of our vows and then recesional to the fast version. For the fast version at around 2:45 it really picks up and would be perfect for that moment when you walk down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time!)

Loving You- Paolo Nutini

I Got A Woman-Ray Charles (old fashioned, but fun)

(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life-Dirty Dancing Soundtrack (instrucmental version-is very unexpected, the lyrical version is great too.)
