Hi bees, please help! I had a custom Modern Trousseau made, half Mika, half Dylan. The skirt has small ruffles. I have showed my sister and aunt, who say they like it, but I’m pretty sure they think it’s just ok and don’t want to hurt my feelings. Perhaps they think it is too busy on the bottom?
I loved it because of the shape and the belt that I purchased separately went well with it…..what do you all think?
Also, I need help with hair ideas! Side chignon???

I love your dress – dont let anyone make you doubt your choice. The side chignon would be PERFECTION. Congratulations!

Love it! Its so similar to mine so I might be a little bias 🙂
You do look spectacular in it. I think you would look beautiful with a fascinator and a birdcage. I find regular veil too much with ruffles 🙂

Your dress is beautiful and looks amazing on you! Gorgeous! It may not be their taste, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.
I think a side chignon would be classically elegant and perfectly fitting! Congrats!

Thank you everyone! All my family/friends are out of state, so unfortunately i’m usually at these appointments along with only the opinon of the bridal shop. And I’m hesistant to fully trust their opinons since I”m sure they’d NEVER tell a bride they look hideous in one of their dresses!
I think so far, I will stick with side chignon! #MsLouella, I bet your dress is lovely! How are you doing your hair? I tried the veil on, but I felt wierd in it!

You look STUNNING in that dress! I love the idea of a side chignon! 😀

@vaitiare: this dress looks STUNNING on you! Amazing choice!
Out of curiosity… how long did it take for your dress to come in, since it was a custom order? I was thinking about doing a custom Modern Trousseau as well, but I’m not sure if I would have enough time…

I think your dress is great, and no one else will have one like it!
