My FI and I have chosen a picturesque church for our wedding (5/31/14). Both the interior and exterior are beautiful and perfect for us, but there is a problem. It’s a very old church (built 1857) and doesn’t have a sprinkler system, so it is surrounded by rocks and gravel, not grass (also a few gravestones, but not creepy at all and they add to the personality of the church). What can we do to spruce up or cover up the rocks? My ideas so far are a flower border, laying down sod the day before, or something like that.
