I would like to change something between the ceremony and reception to wow the guests and glam it up a bit to party into the night.
Im thinking of adding a black sash to my dress and maybe a black flower to the hair, what do you guys think?
Sash or no sash for the reception?

Your dress is gorgeous!!!!

I love it. I’m just not sure if the sash sits too low on the dress because of the flowers. Do you think it looks funny?

Love the dress- if it didn’t have the flowers I would say sash. But since it has the flowers- I like no sash better. The flowers look misplaced with the sash.

That dress is stunning. I don’t think you can go wrong either way, but for me personally, I love how your figure really stands out without it. With the sash my eye was drawn to the sash and without I was drawn to your face.

Love the dress. I think the black sash def. takes away from the dress and your beauty so I vote to keep it as no sash. 🙂

I think the sash takes away from the gorgeousness of the gown. It also sits too low and looks like it is interfering with the beautiful flowers.

So you would add the sash after the ceremony? That might look a little weird . . .

I would say “no sash”
I do think it sits funny with the flowers. You could do a fun bolero or cardigan, change up the shoes. I took off the veil & put a flower in my hair. You could also change up the jewerly, put on something bigger and more colorful.

Love the sash and the flower in the hair! Looks great.

I think the dress is beautiful just the way it is! I personally am not a fan of the sash but you could get away with it. The flowers are nice!!

You’re dress is absolutely amazing! I’m so serious, its amazing. I like it without the sash a better for the ceremony… but it’s still beautiful with it. So, I’d say definitely add the sash for the reception.

Wow thankyou so much everyone! Its’s so reassuring that other people like the dress.
I was worried that it doent really work with the flowers but I loved the amsale dress in the movie ‘the hangover’ so wanted to try out the look. I think black and white is so classic. I’ll play around with the location of the sash a bit more and see if it looks better otherwise I might have to think of something else. If the sash could sit a bit higher it would look better.
I can’t really add a bolero because the wedding is in the middle of an Australian summer, I will be so hot in the dress as it is!
Any more ideas/opinions more than welcome!
