What other materials are you using? My girls dresses are satin so I went with satin table runners with satin chair sashes
I have to say the taffeta gives it a more elegant approach. Sure the satin looks good, but I would say leave it as a trim or something else, that taffeta makes it beautiful!
I'm going to do larger organza runners underneath to add more depth but no bridesmaids so really I don't have to match anything.
seriously, taffeta is one of my most favorite fabrics out there.
my wedding dress is entirely taffeta!
after sewing a TON for a couple years, i have grown to love it! it is durable, resists stain, and is usually easy to wash.
can't say the same for satin.

Table runners.
I like the way the crinkle taffeta photographs (richer looking) but I think satin would lay better.
What do the bees think? I can't make a decision without your opinions!
