In order to be beautiful for the big day, I started taking vitamins to help me get the long locks I so desire.  One problem, I've forgotten what vitamins do to my skin...hello cystic acne!

Any Bees have advice on getting rid of these monsters, or on how to fade the hideous scars, or pock-marks, they leave behind?  I'm desperate, I've got 6 months to get my skin back to normal!

Retinol Gel and facials. The ultimate combination to reducing acne scars and six months is enough time for the Retinol to work.

Do you have insurance and a dermatologist you can see?

I do have insurance...though I don't know if it covers dermatological visits or not.  I know, I am clueless about my insurance coverage, the shame! I guess I will call and see.

First get off the vitamins, is your hair worth sacrificing your skin? you can always get hair extenions. Go to your doctor and get some advice about your skin, in my experience, tea tree oil is good for drying pimples out and killing the bacteria in them and organic Rose Hip Oil is the BEST stuff. It is anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-anything bad for your skin so it helps with the bugs and it replenishes your skin, plumps it up and helps heal anything. I will be using this stuff every second night for until our wedding day to get my skin in the best possible condition.

Wow. I totally understand. About 4 weeks ago I started taking 'hair skin & nails' vitamins- and my skin got awful. Acne 5x worse than normal and painful!!! No one told me biotin can ruin some people! Get off of that and try taking zinc. It helped me. I took 50 mg after eating (important!) don't exceed 100mg per day. Also I'm not sure how extreme you are looking to go but I just had levulan treatment w pdl and ipl laser treatments done on Wednesday. I'm red right now but will let you know how I feel and look in a few days if you are interested! Good luck girl.
