Lovely gown.
I think that if you find the right green shoes you should get them.
I am wearing blue shoes with my gown.
Maybe you could DIY your shoes, you could get an ivory pair and add a green jewel accent or something :)
Oh wow! LOVE the dress. I think green shoes would work great! Maybe something in a nice bright green satin...
yeah! noriteke22 i know i'll keep looking for green wedding shoes, but i guess i'm more open now to other ideas. . . like marissa227's :)
oh! MissChirpie those are cute, but i don't think I'm that fashion forward :)
Regards to ivory shoes I could get something like these:
Martinez Valero Women's Corrine T-Strap Sandal
although: 1) I'm more a 3inch heel girl, and 2) those are kinda above my budget. . .
The Martinez would match perfectly.
Try going to Zappos and looking for something you like/love and then check out the designer's site to see if you can get them for less.
I think a pop of color for your shoes would be very pretty! I have an organza gown too, and I'm going for royal blue ballet flats (if I can find them, that is, been looking for the perfect pair forever).
I think that dress needs delicate shoes. I don't think green pumps are a good idea but green strappy sandales could work especially if the color is not too toxic/vivid. It's a soft romantic dress so I think your link and the two above are all awesome. By the way love the dress.
yeah Arachna, that's what made me have some doubts. . .
But hey! I found a bride in these posts that added a pop of color to her shoes and I think it looks adorable as well. . .I guess it is more subtle and goes more with the dress. . .Check it out:

If I cannot find green shoes that go better with my dress, this will be a solution I'll be happy to take. . .
And in case anyone likes these shoes, those are the Nina Culver, currently at $79 in zappos :)
i think the green will go great with the dress, i love the idea of a shoe clip with it.
I found this delicate pair of sandals that could work really well :)

Or these:
I think I just fell in love with these:

These might make a good match with the skirt:

I know I keep picking ivory, but I keep finding ones I love:
wow all those are cute!
I could be leaning towards the "unlisted - guest list" (the price helps a bit ^_^)
Hi Ladies. . .
I found these:
The only draw back is that they are a full size bigger than my size :(
What do you think? should I go for it? (BTW: my dress is ivory
)
My dress was organza, and I rocked blue shoes. Trust me, it looks FANTASTIC!
those shoes you just posted are awesome, but the full sze might be really difficult to work with
You can definitely do colored shoes! have you thought of designing your own on Nina?
I found my perfect shoes on Amazon. It took some searching, but it was worth it.
Finally found some shoes I really like, with a nice 3" heel, in Ivory and at a price I couldn't resist!
Enter the JCrew Gwendolyn Satin T-Strap Heels:
I was planning on adding a green touch like I showed you in a comment above
Imagine my sadness today when I received them and they run too big for me!
I'm was usually 7 but lately I've been buying 7.5 shoes cuz they felt more confy. . .So when I saw these in 7.5 I was hoping they would work for me. . .but seems like i'm 6.5 or 7 on J Crew shoes. . .
Sad thing is, I don't think a pad will work. The difference is quite big! :(
So I guess here I am again. . .on the look for my perfect wedding shoes!
This is also my wedding gown....check out allure bridals footwear
I'm so happy I can't contain myself :)
My journey finding the perfect wedding shoes has been sooo crazy and long. . .
After my sad story with the Gwendolyn shoes, I couldn't do anything else but sell them, the cool thing is that I made another bride happy.
So back to zero, I found the Nina Culver that I mentioned above, and was planing to add a green accent to it. . . the only problem is that when they arrived they had a heel to high for me to handle: 4 inches!
At that time I kinda gave up and stopped my search, knowing I'll have to deal with the heel problem later. . .
Just few days ago my search started again, cuz I know time is flying (81 days to my wedding!) and today I found a jewel!

These are strappy wedges from chadwicks, and got them with a 40% discount! I'm having an outdoor reception, so they are perfect!
Of course there had to be some drama involved, they didn't have my size online, but after I contacted them by phone, they had a pair that's coming my way :)
I hope they fit fine and my shoe-finding quest ends soon!
I'll let you guys know. . .
That is MY DRESS! I purchased it about 6 months ago and I am going to be wearing it next september! I was looking for the perfect shoes to wear with it and then I found this post! So wonderful! You're right- it IS a whimsical dress and it is absolutely gorgeous on! I think peachy pink will be the color shoe that I will wear! What are your thoughts

Hi ladies!
I have not bought my dress yet, but I'm pretty sure this is it!
Let me introduce you the Allure 8705:
Now all I need is a pair of shoes that can work with this beautiful whimsical dress. . .
See, the thing is that initially, before finding THE dress, I wanted to wear green wedding shoes. . .
But now, I'm not quite sure. . .
How do you think I can incorporate some color in my shoes? Well in fact, any ideas/suggestions on shoes that will be the perfect pairing of my dress?
