ive fallen in love with etsy and ofcourse theyre custom made designs..and since my dress (the following link) is so simple i wanted to glam it up but i dont know if its too much ..im having a catholic ceremony at a church…and so i love the cathedral length veil(royal length) in particular (etsy designer) and then theres the sash ..i want it in steel (grooms suit) to resemble a very popular one(enzoani) …i love the pop of color…to top it off another etsy designer the lace shrug…so im needing opinions if it would all look good together at the church ceremony or should i just wear the shrug at the reception??????????????
the dress…unable to take pics at the bridal boutique the color is magnolia
the grooms suit
the sash…at the boutique plus the original desiger doesnt carry it in steel instead its in black, brown and champagne
and then theres the veil
heres the lovely shrug..in love in this color but i love the second style
please do hep with opinions

All beautiful choices!
Would the shrug and sash be in complementary colors?

I love the dress – though i’m an Enzoani fan!
I voted for sash and cathedral veil. Though I think you ought to try all options as like you say it’d be a shame to over shadow the dress.

@love_birds: are you wearing the bolero b/c it’s in a catholic church and you feel the need or it’s a rule to cover up ? I am just asking b/c the catholic church I go to , it’s a “suggestion” that the bride shouldn’t bear her shoulders and cleavage during her wedding ceremony. Just wondering if it’s a catholic thing or just my church. Good thing I am not getting married there, my dress is tight and strapless LOL.
If I were you I would wear the bolero/ veil if they bolero is needed. And then put the sash on for your reception.
If the bolero isn’t needed, maybe wear the sash and veil for the ceremony and then after the veil comes off for the reception, if you felt like it wear the bolero.
IMHO I think all three together is too much, it covers up your gorgeous dress and will take a lot of attention from your face, since everyone will be looking at all your accessories.
I can see how it’s a hard choice though, all three pieces are beautiful

I love all three but I think they would compete too much with eachother… I like the idea of the sash and veil at the church and then the shrug for later… maybe just for pics… do you want to wear the shrug for your first dance/dancing for the rest of the night?! That is a hard decision as they are all really beautiful!
I’m also an avid etsy stalker… love the design.. who makes it?!

@anneibo..yes its a catholic ceremony…and the groom os being persistent about covering my shoulders since its strapless…eventhough the veil would cover my shoulders…
yes i am in love with all three and all together would take away from my dress…
so i love the idea of the sash and veil at the church…
the sash and shrug for the reception…i am a plus size bride so im self concious with my arms and since my reception is going to be outside garden type atmosphere…
the sash and shrug would be the same color steel (grooms suit color)
thanx ladies ..i have 2 more weeks to decide on the accesories…
