IMO I would write a letter to the actual person, since they were the ones helping you out that day and helped to make your day special.
That's what I was thinking too, thanks for your input!!
I would write a personal thank you to the individual, but let the company know that you were pleased with their services and offer to be a source for referrals & recommendations.

So I've started writing out my thank you cards for all of my vendors, but now I'm stuck. My videographer is just an employee, do I write a thank you note to him or the company or both? Same with my DJ's, they work for a big company. All of my other vendors are owners except these two. Also, I wrote a thank you note to the golf club where my wedding was held, should I write ones to my coordinators (the women I dealt with leading up to the wedding) and my bridal attendant for the day of? I know you don't have to write thank you notes to anyone, but this is something I'd like to do. Any help from you ladies would be greatly appreciated =) thanks in advance!!
