I’m new around here, although I’ll admit to being a lurker 🙂
To set the stage…I’m getting married next June in a cathedral, and the reception venue is an elegant vintage room with high ceilings, beautiful detailing, and giant chandeliers.
I want a dress that will match the elegance of the classic wedding we are having, but at the same time embrace my personality (unique!). I’m 24, and 5’1″
Opinions or advice are welcome and appreciated! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
#1 – Alfred Angelo Sapphire Collection. Not what I imagined myself in, but really fell for it. It was too big for me, so the back drooped.
# 2 – Mori Lee Statin Mermaid. This is the shape of gown I thought I might want. I’m a little unsold with the skirt of the gown…but maybe I’m just being critical. Fiance said he likes satin for a material.
#3 – Mori Lee (I call it the princess gown). Because of my size, I didn’t think I would like ball gown. I love the top and the blingy belt. I like the ruffles, but still hesitant about the shape.

I like #1 the best, but they all look amazing on you!

I like 1 and 3. Dont like 2, its got too much going on for me. I think 1 suits your body better.

Number 1 does nothing for me at all
I love the front of number 2, it looks amazing on you….not so in love with the back though
Don’t love number 3….I think it makes you look a little short (which I get that you are, me too!!)

I vote for the Alfred Angelo lace dress! You look amazing in it!
It might be easier to keep track of the results if you add a poll. 🙂

Thanks to everyone’s opinions so far! I love the alfred angelo, but I’m afraid of having dress regret later since I want a sweetheart, mermaid style dress (but they are soooo popular these days)… decisions, decisions!!

Welcome to the bee!
I think #1 is the clear winner of the three. I don’t mind the front of #2, but I honestly HATE the skirt in the back :/ The third one overwhelms your great figure.
You have plenty of time though, so use this as a jumping off point, knowing you have a good option to start with 🙂

I really like number 1 its defintely more classic! but number 3 comes in a really really close second. its really fun and unique but still screams bride and would so pretty witha long veil. tough choice!
