I’m sure we’re all familiar with the phrase “80% of weightloss is what you eat, 20% is in the gym”
Well… I am a super, super picky eater. It also doesn’t help that I’m a busy college student and I have 2 jobs (I take classes in the summer too, so easy meals are a must).
I dislike most fruits and vegetables – truthfully I wasn’t really exposed to them as a child and I swear that I have supertaste buds because of how sensitive I am to new things.
What “healthy” things I do like:
Broccoli (only in pasta or in stir-fry – something where it absorbs sauce), lettuce, carrots, strawberries, corn, potatoes, apples, yogurt (I tolerate it in moderation), lemons, limes
And that’s about it… some of it is due to lack of trying it or I’m sensitive to the texture – like Cuties for example, I cannot eat them because of that “film”.
I also hate fish and usually avoid pork, I hate nearly all condiments, and chunky sauces.
I do, however, have a love for carbs. I love, love, love pasta and breaksticks. It’s a horrible addiction
So, for those of you who finished this novel, any tips for a picky eater? Good recipes? Or any tips on how to learn to enjoy healthy food?
