I’m not a big fan of the beehive, but I feel like there are other possibilities that aren’t half-up you can do? I feel like a low-do with lots of braids, maybe a little messy, would be beautiful with that dress. Like this?

You have a gorgeous dress and amazing hair! No matter how you decide to wear it, you’re going to look stunning!

I almost never vote for brides to wear their hair down, even when they have extremely beautiful hair such as yours. However, you somehow seem to be the exception. I actually voted for all down, to the side, in curls. However, I also really like the idea that @giru618: suggested.

Or something like this? not really half-up, but still kind of loose and great for your hair!

I wore my hair down because I hate bobby pins.

I like the retro/beehive look, although I like this style as well, which is a bit vintage, but it would look great with your dress:

    This is also pretty:

@mousepeach:  I was having the same issues as you, LOTS of hair and wasn’t exactly sold on what to do with it. I like a lot of volume, so I was toying with 1/2 up, 1/2 down, side curls, a big ol’ beehive with some dramatic volume. Turns out, it rained like CRAZY the week of the wedding and on our wedding day. My hair was a frizzy, half wet mess for a week straight– and we had an outdoor wedding ( it was under a pavillion, but still– HUMID). I went with side curls and am glad I did, it kept them off of the nape of the neck and they held throughout the day/night– even after getting rained on and the wind blowing! My only regret was that she didn’t do more volume at the top, but by that point, I really didn’t care lol… this is how it turned out:
