So it’s three weeks until me wedding and I’m having major jitters over my hair choices.
My hair trial was for a ‘Backup’ dress (long story short, my first dress has an emotional attachment that I wasn’t sure I could handle so I chose a backup), but as it turned out I collected the first dress from the bridal shop and when it was shown to me utterly fell in love with it all over again.
So now the choice is: Do I change my hairstyle?
I’ve switched back to the first dress, which looks like this (I’m not wearing a veil):
My hair from the first trial (for the Backup) is a half-up, half-down style which looks like this:
Though the style is beautiful, my hair is very long and I’m concerned it will completely hide those beautiful straps!
My alternatives are these three:
1) The Swirly Updo
2) The Braid Updo (sans flower):
3) The Smooth Chignon:
The flowery headpiece I have is stunning and I would LOVE to keep it involved, but I am open to ideas!
Thanks all for your help 🙂 xx

I love your hair half down as pictured. I was in the same dilemma as you, and ended up going with a mostly updo, but I regret not wearing my hair down like yours.

I think an up do would look more elegant, so I’m voting for the swirly version!

Your half up/down looks is absolutely beautiful on you, but with the dress switch, I voted for the swirly updo. I think it would look gorgeous with your hair and dress.

@Drift_Avalii: I would go with the swirly updo. That style is so pretty and would really go well with your dress and gorgeous hair pin. 🙂 Good luck!

LOVE the swirly updo! I agree that althought your long hair is gorgeous (im jealous!) it will hide the beautiful straps!

Thanks ladies 🙂 the poll results are really interesting!

I voted swirly updo, although braided updo would work too. Depending on what your hair is like, the braided version could be more secure. I think either would look great with your hair accessory. The chignon is very elegant, but you wouldn’t be able to incorporate the hair pin as easily, I wouldn’t think.

Love the swirly updo and I think the hair pin would be easiest to work into that style!
