i like jonah better than graham. but i like francisco better than earl.
i say Jonah Francisco! haha
Congrats by the way!!! my sister just had a baby, she named him Cash Alexander, im all for the uncommon names.
I know someone named Graham and he is a womanizer! :)
But honestly, I really like both names. Hmmm....Is Jonah Francisco an option? I like the way it sounds. And I like Jonah Getty better than Graham Getty.
I vote Jonah.
I like Graham better than Jonah, but don't like the sound of Graham Francisco - not to be mocking about it, but it sounds like a punnish graham cracker brand from San Francisco. I am voting for the non-option of Graham Earl. :)
I like Jonah better than Graham - I think it is more unique. I also like how Jonah Earl Getty flows....I think it seems more natural than Graham Francisco Getty
I like names that start with the same letter, so I vote Graham Getty.
I am partial to alliterative names: Graham Getty. However, he might get teased as a kid with people calling him graham cracker (kids can make up just about anything to tease one another.)
I would also like to suggest the name Jonas.
How exciting for you and your partner! A new baby! Yay!
I don't love "Graham Getty" because I'm not particularly fond of names that start with the same letter. I also knew a Graham and he was kind of an ass and strangely, as heathaah mentioned a womanizer, too. Weird.
I've always like Jonah, and think Jonah Earl is lovely.
But I will say I know a couple of younger children named Jonah now, but no Grahams.
I like the way Jonah Getty sounds better...people won't be calling him by his full name all the time. I do agree with a couple of the other ladies though... Jonah Francisco Getty! :)
Graham Earl!!
Graham Francisco does sound a lot like San Francisco...
Jonah makes me think of whales....
@bree72: Hmm...what are the chances? haha...did your Graham happen to live in Massachusetts? That would be so friggin funny!
I am sorry, i dont really care for either. Names now-a-days are so different!!! I could name lots of names that I like, which are more traditional, but doesnt seem like you are going the traditional route with naming your son.
I like them both, especially since you included family names. I voted for Jonah Earl because I like the sound of it, but ultimately you have to pick whichever one YOU want.
I'm in the Jonah Francisco camp, but like Graham Francisco too. (full disclosure I have a nephew named Jonah, so I'm totally biased!)
I like Graham the best! My friend's son name is Graeme which is the traditional gaelic spelling. I love that spelling so maybe you can consider that too?
I don't know too many Grahams', so I'm going with that one. I love a name thats differnt from the rest.
I like the non-poll option of Graham Earl!! But if the poll options were the only two possible choices, I say Graham Francisco. I really don't care for the name Jonah.
I voted for graham, but I like both options so I am really no help at all. :D
Graham Earl sounds too close to grammar, but if you are a word nerd like me, then that might be cute. We just had a photographer at my work name her kid so her initials were JPG (not on purpose).
Graham Earl!!!!!!
Either which way I love Graham better than Jonah! All I can think about is the darn jonas brothers when I hear that name!
I think you should start a new poll with 4 names, switching up the combinations :)
I like Jonah, it was the name of an old friend of mine.

We are torn between names for our baby boy. Which one do you like better? We want a first name that is uncommon in the US, yet familiar. Middle names are in honor of our grandfathers. If you don't like either of these combinations, please make a suggestion! We are stuck and want to finalize a name soon.
