I’d love to hear your recommendations for destination venues in the eastern US. My fiance and I would like to find a venue that includes as much as possible (food, drink, chairs, tables, linens, etc.) so that the wedding will be easy to arrange at a distance.
We’re looking for a destination in a gorgeous setting (not a big city), and we’ll have about 60 guests. Our budget is about $120/pp for venue, food, drink, service, tax, and tip. I’d prefer to have an indoor rather than a tented reception, and we can be flexible in terms of the season. We were thinking of a New England inn or a seaside resort, but we’re open to all types of suggestions.
If price weren’t an issue, I’d love any of these venues:
THANK YOU so much for any suggestions!!

This is probably not exactly what you’re looking for but http://stokesay.net/weddings/wedding-packages/ ? I know I’m hoping to have mine there! May not be eastern enough for you though. Not sure about where exactly you’re looking.

- Wedding: October 2014 - The Wayside Inn
My venue (the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA) fits what you’re looking for, although I think it’d be hard to keep it to $120/pp (we’re planning on more like $150, and it’d be easy to spend more.) When I was looking at venues, I found some really gorgeous ones in the Worcester, MA area that seemed a bit less expensive than the Boston area. I’d also look at venues in the Pioneer Valley area, which feels a bit more remote but has a lot of great options. I can’t think of any off the top of my head that were mostly inclusive, though!

romola: I am getting married on the eastern shore of Maryland, at a venue right on the water. It’s a beautiful property and the venue is an old inn, built back in the mid 1500’s. Check it out!

romola: This B&B in PA is a historic land mark….and its GORGEOUS. It’s lovely in any season, but autumn would be especially amazing.

A lot of the wineries around Seneca Lake in New York do weddings. I love the wineries but was never to a wedding there, but it’s some thing to look in to.
