Fh and I sat down today to go over invitation wording. We are a non-traditional couple, and we wanted to breeze over the whole “who is hosting” topic on the invites. Here is what we came up with (forgive the funky formatting, I couldn’t figure it out!)…..
This day I will marry my best friend,
the one I laugh with, live for, dream with, love
As our hearts are entwined in marriage
on Sunday, October Xth, 2011
at XXXXXX time
A Golf Course
Dinner and dancing to follow

We don’t want to spell out 2011. I know, we’re nuts. However it presents the dilema of the ceremony time, because saying “at 4:30 in the afternoon” or “at half past four o’clock” just sounds weird to us. Any input?
