First rug with the dark blue print, I think.

Fun project! We’re getting ready to move soon so I’ve been haunting design blogs. 🙂

@lawgirl88:  I don’t like any of them. If I had to choose I’d say the dark blue one, but personally I find it better to buy neutral rugs so they will go with furniture down the road. I’d probably go with a gray..

I like the 3rd one, with the robin’s egg blue in the circular pattern.

I think navy is a neutral! The navy and white one made me drool. I wish I had bought that instead of my new living room rug–or maybe I should have not ordered something online sight unseen since colors can vary so much. And from Zulily, who makes returns very difficult. Boo.

The first rug. The other two look like their secondary color is very close to the color of the couch. Too matchy matchy in my opinion.

I like the navy rug the best.  I might be biased – I have a navy color scheme in my bedroom 🙂

@lawgirl88:  Are you set on Burke? You might look at Overstock.com, too…they have lots of rugs, too.

@lawgirl88:  hands down the dark navy one! I love the patterns on the other two but the colour of them don’t really compliment your fabulous couch!

Please invite me over when it’s done! I am already picturing how fantastic your apt is going to look!

IMO, you have the right colours but I don’t really like any of those patterns.

@lawgirl88:  First, I am totally in love with your sofa. Second, I think you’re on the right track with the yellow/blue/cream combo, but none of the rugs seem “to go” with what I feel you’re trying to accomplish.

I would maybe go for a greyer blue rug with more cream than blue. Try something with a clean lines and more of a modern, simple feel. Then add some textured throw pillows on the sofa.

xoxo
