We are expecting twins in March and would like some help narrowing down our options. We don’t know the sexes but have this short list. Please feel free to comment on our choices as well! It’s really hard naming two! haha.

@MrsAMac: Not sure why, but I feel like Oliver and Emerson sound nice together. Congratulations on your little nuggets!

I really like Kennedy. I also like Emerson, but I picture that more as a bit name. It could work either way though!

Callahan… interesting choice. I’m not sure what I think about that but I don’t necessarily dislike it! I voted for Everett and Emerson

I hope you have 2 boys and call them Owen and Oliver or Finnegan! I love all these. Your girls’ names all sound like boy or surnames to me. But I think that’s probably because I’m not in Canada or the US. It seems to be much more common over there.

Emerson & Everett is super cute:)

I’m all for twins with matching names, so even though I looove Oliver, I voted for Everett and Emerson!
Congrats on the bundleS of joy!

I voted Griffen and Harlow.
I just really think of Emerson as a boy’s name, but that’s just me.

They are all nice, solid names. I voted Harlow & Oliver not b/c they necessarily go well together but because I like them each individually. But I do think they go well together too…Would you have preferred we vote on names that “go” together? My apologies if that’s obvious & a dumb question.
Congrats btw, I have a twin brother & it was great growing up. I kind of hope to maybe have twins too 🙂 I have a one-year old DD but may start TTC this year.

I voted Harlow and Oliver! The other girl names look a little too much like boys’ names to me!

I voted for Griffin because I think that’s awesome and Harlow because personally I prefer more feminine sounding names for girls (mine is very feminine and I love it), but regardless I’m sure they’ll be adorable! Congratulations! 🙂

Ditto that all the girls’ name options are surnames; I like those when there’s a family connection to the name (i.e. “it was my grandmother’s maiden name,” etc.) but I’m not a big fan of surnames-as-first-names in the absence of one.
