This is our second Christmas as Mr and Mrs. It’s also our first year being included in the family Christmas draw. We drew my cousin and her husband (they are mid 30s) and live in a different state than us. I talked to my other cousin (her sister) and she suggested date night gift cards b/c they like to get out and take a night off (they have a young son).
SO okay, gift cards are easy enough. We’re thinking dinner and a movie. But we need ideas on how to jazz it up a bit!!! Any ideas on how to make the gift a bit more exciting?! Note: Cannot ship wine to their state >
We’re looking at 100-200 budget!!! Thanks so much!!

Can you purchase a groupon for them? Like those wine & painting classes, or wine tasting tours, etc.? There’s also nicer movie theatres with big recliner seats that serve alcohol and food that you could buy them tickets to.

Put together a basket – microwave popcorn, movie candy (junior mints and Swedish fish and such), a couple bottles of soda, etc. then put the gift cards in with that. They won’t use the popcorn and stuff at the same time, but it is a cuter way to present than an envelope and gift card

TaraMay_: I really like your idea. But I’m not so sure about it only because we do groupon and LS here and it’s really hit or miss. I’d feel really bad if I sent them to some hole in the wall. I wish we lived closer!! I like the idea of a wine/beer/whiskey tasting. I know those come up on LS all the time here in WA.
Glasgowbound: Cute! LOL I mean she could sneak the swedish fish in her purse LOL.
