Oooooh, lucky you - I really wanted to have our wedding in VT because my family's vacation house is there, but Mr. PP didn't want to have a DW :( If you want to stay in the Manchester area, check out the Equinox in Manchester, it's really beautiful, and the views are to die! There's also a place called something like the Inn at Round Hill Barn, which is further north, but wonderfully rustic and remote. Good luck!
Hi,
There are so many places in Vermont that fit that description! I don't know about prices but here are some other places: I had a friend who got married at the Stowehof and she really liked it, it was a beautiful place. The Round Barn Farm is in Waistfield. Also, pretty much any of the major ski resorts do weddingsl. Another beautiful place (not in the mountains but on the lake) is Grand Isle Lake House.
Good luck with all of your planning and enjoy your Vermont weekend.
You can get married on top of a mountain (with mountain views) at a ski resort. Will you consider NH as well? Very similar views.
You should check out Okemo Mountain Resort,Ludlow, VT I know someone who got engaged in April 11 and married there in August 11. They may still have dates available.
Another vote for Stowehof Inn. It's amazing. I consider it my home away from home in Vermont. And it's affordable!

I'll be getting married next October at Sugarbush resort in Warren (next town over from Waitsfield). In the photo of Stowehof Inn that KatyElle posted, Sugarbush is the mountain in the background. The whole Mad River Valley area is beautiful and, now, my only concern is whether or not to do a mountain top ceremony -- which would require everyone (including the elderly) to ride the chairlift up. Thoughts, anyone?

Hello Brides! I'm very newly engaged and hoping for an outdoor wedding next summer. I live in new york city but have envisioned an outdoor wedding with open grounds and surrounded by mountains. Vermont became the go-to place! I have fallen IN LOVE with the Mountain Top Inn and though it is expensive, it's still within my budget and looks exactly like what I envisioned. The problem is finding dates that are still available since it is now les than a year away. I"m wondering if anyone has any suggestions about places that compare in outdoor space and price. I also really like the Trapp family lodge but this is pricier than mountain top. The Hldene is also nice but may also be pricier.
I'm visiting Mountain Top this weekend and would like tosee a few venues if possible. I'm considering checking out out Riverside Farms as well. Please, please, please, give me any venues thatmay work. It will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
